Special Meeting

November 18, 2009  5:00 p.m.

City of Oswego

Present:  Councilmembers Ty Lewis, Dave Blankinship, Glenn Fischer, Cindy Sanders with Mayor Tom Bringle presiding.  City Clerk Cheri Peine and Supt. Kevin Frogley.

Absent:  Councilmembers Ryan Willis and Jane Rea.

The meeting was called to consider bids for electrical work at the water plant.  Written plans and specifications were direct mailed to three contractors asking for quotes on a project at the Oswego Water Plant for electric modifications.  One quote was received, from Interstate Electric.

The bid was opened and the quote was as follows:

            LUMP SUM BID - $88,757.00

            ALTERNATE - $33,878.00

Fischer made a motion and Blankinship seconded to award the bid of $122,635 to Interstate Electric.  Motion carried.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 5:10 p.m.
