Each Wednesday the city provides three bulk pick-ups annually as part of your monthly sanitation fee. After
three pickups there is a $15 charge. Items that will be picked up include old furniture, appliances, hot water
tanks, rugs, televisions, and mattresses.  Refrigerators and air conditioners cannot be picked up unless a
certificate is attached showing Freon has beenproperly removed.  All items must be placed at the curb for pickup
and you must call to request this service at 795-4433.

Items that will not be picked up are tires, automobile parts, ashes, rocks, concrete, dirt, radioactive materials,
acids, caustics, diseased or infected materials, highly volatile materials, explosives, hazardous or infectious waste,
commercial waste, dead animals, liquid paint, automotive batteries, motor oil, railroad ties, chemicals, household
hazardous wastes or any item posing a risk of injury to personnel or damage to the collection vehicle.
