Brush Dump Open Thursdays

NOTICE: BRUSH DUMP TO REMAIN OPEN ON THURSDAYS!

In March the City extended the brush dump hours to include being open every Thursday from 11am to 6pm in
addition to the third Saturday of the month from 8am to noon. Originally it was thought that the dump would
close it's Thursday operating hours after Daylight Savings Time ended in November. However, it was recently
decided that the dump will remain open on Thursdays except during inclement weather so please call the City
Office at 795-4433 to check to see if the dump is open when the weather is bad. City personnel will be at the
site all hours it is open to the public.

Items that can be taken to this site include brush, leaves and contruction and demolition (C&D) items.
C&D items include building materials and non-hazardous household items (no garbage).  There is no fee for
leaves or brush but the fee for C&D materials is $53.50 per ton, with a minimum charge of $7.50.  Before bringing
C&D items to the site for the first time be sure to have your truck or trailer weighed empty at Bartlett Coop.  You
will need to have it weighed again after it is full so we can determine the weight of the C&D items.

The dump is located on Chisolm Lane. Go South on Ohio Street until you cross the railroad track and turn right.
