Bid Notice-Demo 325 Merchant

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The City of Oswego, Kansas will receive sealed bids for the demolition, repair and/or clean-up of the following described property located within the city limits of Oswego, Kansas.  Bids will be accepted until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the City Clerk’s Office, 703 - 5th  Street, Oswego, KS 67356, and will be publicly opened at that time.  Bid results will be presented at the City Council meeting on Monday, July 11, 2016 for awarding the bid.  The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. 

  1. Street Address:           325 Merchant Street  (Three-story brick building on the northwest corner of 4th & Merchant)

Legal Description:       Commencing at the Southeast corner of Lot 6, Block 25, Original City of Oswego; thence West 61.60 feet to the West side of common wall between the two buildings; thence North 44.10 feet along West line of said wall to the North end; thence East 1.45 feet to East side of West building; thence North 95.90 feet to North line of Lots 6 through 8; thence East 60.98 feet to Northeast corner of Lot 6; thence South 140 feet to the point of beginning, Labette County, Kansas, or commonly known as 325 Merchant St. 

 The City reserves the right to reject any/or all bids.
