Ord.1384 Condemnation Assessment

ORDINANCE NO.  1384

AN ORDINANCE making and levying a special tax upon all lots and parcels of ground in the City of Oswego, Kansas for the cost and expense of condemnation and demolition charges of 325 Merchant.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF OSWEGO, KANSAS:

SECTION 1.  That a special tax is hereby levied upon and against the premises in the City of Oswego, Kansas, hereinafter described and the amount set opposite there to respectively, for the payment of the cost and expenses for the condemnation and demolition charges of 325 Merchant.

Commencing at the Southeast corner of Lot 6,                       Cheryl E. Siu-Gharmalkar                    $49,604.05   
Block 25, Original City of Oswego; thence West
61.60 feet to the West side of common wall between
The two buildings; thence North 44.10 feet along
West line of said wall to the North end; thence East
1.45 feet to East side of West building; thence North
95.90 feet to North line of Lot 6 through 8; thence
East 60.98 feet to Northeast corner of Lot 6; thence
South 140 feet to the point of beginning, Labette
County, Kansas, or commonly known as 325
Merchant St.

 

SECTION 2.  This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in the official city paper.
