New Mayor & Council Members

Swearing in Glenn F. as new Mayor

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 New Mayor, Glenn Fischer and Council Members, Bill Owens, Dee Brown and Darren Tynan were sworn in at the Council Meeting on April 11th.

Ty Lewis was appointed and confirmed as Council President and Terry Edwards was appointed to replace the seat vacated by former Council President, Glenn Fischer. Ms. Edwards will be sworn in at the next meeting.  

Tom Bringle was recognized for his service as Mayor for two terms from April 2003-2011 and as Council Member April 1999-2003. A reception in his honor will be held at City Hall on April 18th from 4-5:30pm. The public is invited to attend this "Come and Go" event and refreshments will be served.

 

Mayor and former Council President, Glenn Fischer and Former Council Members Dave Blankinship and Cindy Sanders were recognized for their years of service to the City of Oswego. Former Council Member, Ryan Willis was not able to attend the meeting but was also recognized for his service.
