ORDINANCE NO. 1434

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF OSWEGO, KANSAS AND IN COMPLIANCE WITH ARTICLE 26 OF ZONING REGULATIONS ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1323, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN DESCRIBED REAL ESTATE FROM (CP-1) GENERAL COMMERCIAL TO (IP-1) LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF OSWEGO, KANSAS:

 

SECTION 1. That the following described properties are hereby rezoned from (CP-1) general commercial to (IP-1) Light Industrial district, to wit:

            The East 100 feet of Lot 1, Block 20, Cowell’s Addition to the City of Oswego;

 

AND Beginning at the Northeast corner of the West 50 feet of Lot 1, Block 20, thence South to the Southeast corner of said West 50 feet of Lot 1, Block 20, thence West 155 feet, thence Northeastwardly to a point 45 feet West of point of beginning, thence East to point of beginning, Cowell’s Addition to the City of Oswego, Labette County, Kansas.
 

            The West 50 feet of Lot 2, Block 19, Cowell’s Addition to the City of Oswego; also beginning at the Southwest corner of said lot 2, Block 19, Cowell’s Addition to the City of Oswego, thence South to the North line of Section 21, Township 33, Range 21, thence East on the North line of said Section 21, 50 feet, thence North to the South line of said Lot 2, Block 19, Cowell’s Addition to the City of Oswego, thence West on said South line of said Lot 2, Block 19, Cowell’s Addition to the City of Oswego, 50 feet to the place of beginning.
 

            North ½ of the following described tract: beginning at the NE corner of Lot 1, Block 19, Cowells Addition to the City of Oswego, thence West 150 feet, thence South the North line of Section 21, thence East 150 feet to a point due South of beginning, thence North to beginning.
           

SECTION 2. Except as herein amended and previously amended, the Zoning Map of the City of Oswego, Kansas will remain in full force and effect. No change is made in the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Oswego, Kansas.
 

SECTION 3. That the Mayor be authorized to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this change.
 

SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication in the official City newspaper.
