Oswego City Office, Senior Citizen's Center & Community Center Closed to Public

***Update***

The City Office and Community Building has reopened to the public. Please practice social distancing. The Senior Citizen Center remains closed to the public at this time.

In an abundance of public caution, the City of Oswego is taking proactive steps to combat the spread of the coronavirus locally so the city can continue to provide essential services. Effective 3-19-20, City Hall, 703 5th St. will be closed to the public until further notice. Please contact the city by phone with questions at 620-795-4433. Utility and court payments can be made either by mail or the drop box by the front door of City Hall. Payments can also be made online or over the phone using a credit card or you can set up an autodraft from your checking account. Please see the city’s website for an abundance of information and forms – oswegokansas.com. We will also be releasing updated information on our Facebook page.

In accordance with the CDC guidelines, the City of Oswego is also closing the Oswego Community Center, 203 North St., to the public for the next three weeks. These closures are to protect the most vulnerable members of our community. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause and hope these closures are very temporary.

The Oswego Senior Citizen's Center, 723 Commercial will also be closed until further notice.

The City Council meetings will proceed as planned, but all non-essential City board meetings likely will be cancelled or rescheduled. Further information will be released through the newspaper, website and Facebook as the pandemic situation changes.
