ORDINANCE NO.  1498

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 16, ARTICLE 4 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF OSWEGO, RELATING TO CITY PLANNING COMMISSION/BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF OSWEGO, KANSAS:

 SECTION 1.  Chapter 16, Article 4, Section 16-401 of the City Code is hereby amended to read:     

16-401. Commission re-establishment.     There is hereby re-established the Oswego City Planning Commission which is composed of five members of which three members shall be residents of the city and two members may be residents of the city or outside the city, but within at least three miles of the corporate limits of the city. The planning commission was originally created by Ordinance No. 890 which was passed and approved on October 24, 1988.

 SECTION 2.  This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in the official city newspaper.
