Annually from Black Friday until January 2nd, River-side Park in Oswego, KS turns into a holiday travel destination as tourist near and far enjoy the magical lights and displays the park has to offer! The official lighting of the park takes place each Black Friday night at 5:30PM. Light Up the Park is open 7 days a week and most lights come on by 5:30PM and are on until 6AM. All trees and displays are sponsored by families, organizations, and businesses from Oswego and sur-rounding towns and states. This year’s non-profit for Black Friday is Lights of Life. Harry Hynes employees will be set up in Shelter House #1 (by the pool) during opening night on Black Friday from 5:30-7PM. Donations are appreciated but not required. All donations will go towards anyone needing hospice care and requiring assistance due to lack of insurance or financial resources.
