altFamily reunions, birthday parties, weddings/receptions, class reunions, etc. are held each year at the four shelter houses in Riverside Park.  Shelter Houses are free to the public on a "First Come - First Serve" basis. However, if you would like to make sure that a particular shelter house is available for a special event they can be reserved.

The cost to reserve a shelter is only $10 for the day.  Please call the City Office at 620-795-4433 to reserve the date and shelter you prefer.

Larry Allen Pavilion  - You can also rent the pavilion located on the Fair Grounds next to the Community Building. The shelter can either be rented in conjuntion with the rental of the Community Center or as a stand alone. There are regulations  for alcohol use, when youth events are in the area and use during the fair. So please contact the City Office well in advance of your event. Approval and notice of certain restrictions will need to be coordinated with the Fair Board.
